Name of group: Lubuntu Aims: This funding campaign has the following objectives: Fund the the Lubuntu project’s hosting and bandwidth costs. This includes such things as domain name registrations, server hosting and bandwidth costs to provide a website and community space that is not reliant on social networks. Fund the full time development of Lubuntu and also be able to offer financial rewards to contributors of the project. Help subsidise the travel expenses of team members to represent Lubuntu at FLOSS conferences. Subsidise and/or pay for additional equipment to enable testing of Lubuntu. Support other Open Source projects that Lubuntu depends upon. Provide advertising materials such as stickers, mugs, pens, Tee-Shirts etc. to contributors and for general advocacy. Members: Julien Lavergne, Rafael Laguna, Walter Lapchynski and David Phillip Whiteside. Members may resign with one month's notice. New members require a majority of votes to be approved. Commitment to Equality: The group will not discriminate on the grounds of gender, race, colour, ethnic or national origin, sexuality, disability, religious or political belief, marital status or age. Committee: Julien Lavergne, Rafael Laguna, Walter Lapchynski and David Phillip Whiteside are the committee members. AGM: The committee will keep in contact regularly and hold a meeting within 1 month of each bi-annual release. The minutes of these meetings will be publicly available and be pre-announced using social media. Meetings will be held with meeting-bot and using the structure that is exemplified at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/IRC%20Meetings/Agenda Finances: An account is being opened with Lloyds Bank plc which requires that two of the committee members authorise any payment from the account. Records of income and expenditure will be published by David Whiteside each month on lubuntu.me donate page. All money raised by or on behalf of lubuntu is only to be used to further the aims of the group as detailed in our Aims section. Amendments to the Constitution: Amendments to the constitution may only be made at the Annual General Meeting or a Special General Meeting and require a majority vote. Dissolution: If a meeting, by simple majority, decides that it is necessary to close down the group it may call a Special General Meeting to do so. The sole business of this meeting will be to dissolve the group. If it is agreed to dissolve the group all remaining money and other assets, once outstanding debts have been paid, will be donated to charitable organisations. The organisations to be agreed at the meeting which agrees the dissolution. This constitution was agreed at the Inaugural General Meeting of the Lubntu Group on:- Date 14th November 2015
